This 2-mile semicircle of prime beachfront is the island’s main tourist hub. It serves as the center for all kinds of water sports and is where nearly all snorkel, party boat, and dive operators launch their excursions. While the pools, lounges, and shaded palapas in front of the resorts are reserved for guests, there are also areas where non-guests can rent chairs and umbrellas. Alternatively, you can simply lay your towel down anywhere you like, as all of Aruba’s beaches are open to the public.
Recent visitors have raved about the stunningly clear aqua waters and the soft, white sand that’s easy on the feet. They also appreciated the absence of aggressive vendors trying to make sales.
